Hello! My name is Heather and I’m a military wife and mom of 3. I had my first Disney World trip back in 1997, and that started my love of all things Disney. In 2018 I got the opportunity to take my husband and 2 of our children for their first trip, and we’ve been planning yearly trips ever since. My family loves travel of all sorts, and we are constantly thinking of new places to go. I came to Charleston, SC to attend The College of Charleston, then was lucky enough to meet my husband and start a family. Hilary Chester
Hi, my name is Hilary. I’m originally from Disneyland (haha, San Diego actually), and now live in Maryland. My friends and family know that I love all things Disney, travelling, baking and cycling. As I grew up in San Diego, I went to Disneyland at least once a year. Even after moving away, I manage to get back there (Disneyland, that is) when visiting family. Now that I live on the East Coast, I go down to Disney World much more frequently.
I’ve been many times with my husband, and would love to give tips and help you plan a “grown-ups” only visit. I’ve also been a couple of times for work conferences, and can help you take maximum advantage of those work trips! Make work magical!
I’ve done quite a bit of travelling across the U.S. and Europe, Asia, around the Mediterranean, Latin America and South America—and I am really looking forward to booking Adventures by Disney! I’ve been to many of the countries, even the cities and sites, on their current itineraries.
I read somewhere that planning a vacation is almost as relaxing as taking a vacation—I’m not sure if that is true—but I do love to plan vacations and certainly can’t take them all myself! Did I also mention that I love spreadsheets and tracking lots of data?

Hilary loves to travel and is a proud life long Disney fan! After visiting Walt Disney World for the first time when she was three years old, she was hooked and has been nearly 40 times since. Disney is always reinventing itself so she loves the fact that there are always new things to explore and rediscover! She particularly loves exploring the Disney Parks at night when all the lights are on and the parks take on a new life. Hilary has also enjoyed visiting Disneyland California several times and cruising with Disney. One of her favorite experiences was getting to visit Disneyland Paris and she is looking forward to traveling with Adventures by Disney later this year.
Hilary joined Magical Vacation Planner in 2014 but has been helping families plan their Disney vacations for many year. She especially enjoys visiting Disney World with people who are experiencing it for the first time and has helped plan several long weekend getaways for groups of women and singles who, though they did not get the opportunity to visit as kids, wanted to experience Disney as an adult.
