Hi! My name is Candy and I fell in Love with Disney during our first Family trip to Walt Disney World in 2008 for my oldest Son’s 10th Birthday. At the time we figured this would be a one time, once in a Lifetime Dream vacation. We had the most amazing vacation and we were so sad to leave. But, before the final day of our 12 Day vacation arrived we had already started planning our next trip for 2011 to celebrate our youngest Son turning “10”.
Since then, We have taken many more Family trips to Walt Disney World, Disney Land and participated in two High School Band trips during which my boys were able to march in the Magic Kingdom Parade – their ultimate Dream come true as “Drummer boys”. We have learned to leave Disney with the next trip in motion so that we do not have to leave on a sad note knowing we will be back and it is not our last trip to Disney.
My husband and I recently celebrated our 25th Anniversary with a trip to Disney Land and Aulani (yes – just the two of us, No kids and it was the most Amazing Vacation). Now that our children are grown, we are looking forward to some “last minute, spontaneous trips away” to discover more of that Disney Magic and revive the “kid in both of us”.
My Dream job is now in motion to help other families make Memories that last a Lifetime by helping you plan a Once in a Lifetime Dream Vacation or perhaps a return trip to Disney to find that “Magical Moment”. I have had a love for all-things-Disney since my first visit as a young child and completely addicted to Disney travel since I went with my family as a teenager. From the amazing service to the details and story in every attraction, meal, and experience, Disney has the unique ability to inspire kids and adults the same!
Convincing our family and friend Disney “skeptics” that it truly can be for everyone has become a great passion. In fact, when I dated my husband I convinced him to take a trip with me and he fell as much in love with it as I did. Several years later we were married in the place that “happies” our hearts the most–the Happiest Place on Earth. Fast forward a few more years and we’ve turned our son into a little Disney addict as well.
I have SO much faith that Disney can have a place in the heart of everyone that I have spent countless hours planning details and helping them make special memories, no matter what it is they are looking for from their trip. It is the running joke around here that I get just as excited for other people creating their Disney experience as I do when we are planning our own (and sometimes more!). There is just nothing like that FIRST Disney trip.
We have stayed in a variety of resorts and dined every which way; seen old and new characters, and tried so many experiences. I’m so happy to be able to share our best tips and tricks and advice with others.

My Disney experience starts back in 1994 with our very first trip, a prize won through Sears Roebuck & Co. We than made a yearly return to WDW from that point on. In 2000 I entered the Disney College Program working at the Emporium in the Magic Kingdom and stayed on as a seasonal employee through 2003. I hold a Mousters and Ducktorate Degree in Merchandising from Disney University.
Over the last 23 years I’ve traveled back to Walt Disney World over 40 times, either with family or friends. Back in 2006 I made a certain wish during the Wishes fireworks at the Magic Kingdom – about 18 months later I married my husband Matt who is now a Disney addict as well! We live in Grand Rapids, MI with our beagle Bella.
Recently our big trip was to the islands and getting to experience Aulani. A wonderful resort in Ko Olina on the island of O’ahu. It was truly a vacation of a lifetime and I can’t wait to go back.
