You could say travel has been part of my story since day one—literally. My very first flight was at just 8 weeks old to visit my mom’s family in New York, and I’ve had the travel bug ever since! I grew up in a family of all girls, and all of us played travel softball. Thanks to our supportive parents, we were lucky enough to see the world at a young age—whether it was long road trips or flights, or exploring new places right here in the U.S. Beyond the ball fields, our family adventures took us to Disney World, Busch Gardens, SeaWorld, national parks, beaches, and our family lake house. Those experiences built the foundation for my love of exploring, discovering, and creating lasting memories through travel. Fast forward to today, and that passion has only grown! Before I got married, I told my husband, “We can be ‘home’ during planting and harvest, but outside of that, I always want to have a trip on the books.” Four years in, that’s still true—we’re always dreaming about the next destination. Becoming a travel agent has been a natural step for me. I’ve always been detail-oriented and LOVE planning every aspect of a trip. It was during maternity leave with my first baby that I started thinking, “What more could I be doing to bring me joy?” After many conversations, my husband encouraged me to explore becoming a licensed vacation planner—and here I am! Now, I get to combine my lifelong passion for travel with my love for planning.
