I have loved Disney for as long as I can remember. My first drive-in movie was Pete’s Dragon, the first movie I remember seeing in a theater was The Fox and the Hound. For much of my childhood a trip to Walt Disney World was out of reach. My first trip was a drive from Upstate New York to Kissimmee, Florida in 1988. We didn’t stay on site, but in a place on International Drive. I was 14 years old, but when I walked onto Main Street U.S.A., I was immediately transported back to my childhood! It was truly magical for me! At that time it was only Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. As an adult, I have made it my mission to immerse myself in Disney. I returned to the WDW resort in 1996, took my niece in 1997 and celebrated my honeymoon in 1998. Sporadically, we had a few vacations to Disney between 2001 and 2008. Beginning around 2008, after the births of my 2 children, we have had some kind of Disney vacation every year. We’ve been to the Walt Disney World resort in Florida, Disneyland in California, Disney’s Hilton Head resort, on a Disney Cruise, Disney’s Aulani in Hawaii and even Disneyland Paris. Our accommodations have run the gamut of Good Neighbor Hotels to onsite Disney resorts. We have stayed in every level from value to moderate to deluxe. Planning my family’s vacations have been fun and exciting for me!
