It may sound completely foreign to most Disney and travel fans, but I never experienced a real vacation until my wife and I spent our honeymoon in California where we hit Disneyland, the San Diego Zoo, and Knott’s Berry Farm all in one week. In the 30 plus years that have followed I can’t even count the number of times we’ve had family vacations with most of them having the word Disney somewhere in them (Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise). That said we’ve done the other well known vacation spots like Vegas, Vail, Mexico, and multiple cruise lines.
